Chapter 3 – Silent Night:

Chestnut was enjoying a particularly delicious bowl of warm milk when the conductor announced overhead “Now arriving at Silent Night Field. Please exit from the front two cars and remember the train will depart the station at 8am sharp!"

“Silent Night Field?” Chestnut thought to himself “I've only heard legends of this magical place and have always wanted to visit!” He hurriedly donned his Santa hat and headed out into the cold snowy night.

"Excuse me?" a tiny Burmese said approaching Chestnut" "What is so special about the snowmen heads in this field?"

"Why, everyone knows the snowmen heads, while cold and wet looking, are the warmest and most entertaining of all creatures!" he replied, leading the Burmese to a nearby snowman head.

"They even have Santa hats like mine and funny carrot noses - both are so much fun to play with, try it yourself!" Chestnut pawed playfully at the snowman's nose encouraging his new friend to do the same.

"This is so much fun! I never knew a snowman could be so entertaining!" the Burmese exclaimed while pawing at the snowman's Santa hat. "But all this activity has made me so tired, and I am afraid my short coat isn't keeping me warm."

"That's the best part!" explained Chestnut. "The snowmen's large amount of holiday spirit fills their insides with soft, warm plush fluff - perfect for a long warm winter's nap!"

And with that the cats curled inside the snowman head. "Good night new friend!" Chestnut said to the Burmese.

"Good night Chestnut, thank you for being such a good friend!"
